Working with a health coach can help you build healthy habits in virtually any area of your life.
Even if you don’t have specific health needs or goals in mind, a health coach can have a life-changing impact on your health and well-being. From stress to nutrition, sleep to exercise and more, a health coach can identify goals to improve your well-being, break them into achievable steps and help you stay accountable and motivated along the way.
When you sign up for WebMD health coaching, you will be assigned to a team of coaches to ensure that a coach is always available when it works for you. Every coach on your team will know your goals and concerns so you can feel confident that whoever you talk to is qualified and able to focus just on you.
It is all confidential — between you and your coach.
How to initiate health coaching
You can connect with a WebMD health coach:
- On the U.S. Well-Being platform through WebMD, online or with the Wellness at Your Side app: Select Coach, in the upper right hand menu, to schedule a convenient time to meet with your health coach. You and your coach can send and receive secure, private messages through Coach Connect online and through the app.
- By phone: Call 800.493.5980 to speak with an available health coach or to schedule a convenient time to chat. Coaches are available Monday – Thursday, 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. PT and Friday, 6 a.m. – 5 p.m. PT.
If you complete the online health assessment, you may receive an email about the option to meet with a WebMD health coach.
Points and rewards
- Complete WebMD health coaching sessions by August 31, 2023, to earn 20 points per session up to a maximum of 60 points.
- If you earn 200 well-being points, including points from three health coaching sessions, you qualify for the Well-Being Warrior reward level and will receive a $100 gift card.
